The Bronze age roundhouse experience
Brodick Castle
10.30-12noon
Explore the newly built replica roundhouse and find out what it was like living on Arran during the bronze age.Living history at Brodick Country Park! Find out how the replica roundhouse was constructed and let your guide take you back in time. Settle down around the fire and find out how people lived 4000 years ago. Try out some ancient crafts and maybe even get dressed up in Bronze Age garb.Limited spaces. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

Arran Music & Drama Club present 'The Steamie'
Brodick Hall
One Hogmanay in the 1950s four Glasgow women of various ages and personalities gather in the local wash-house (or ‘steamie') to do their last laundry of the year. They share memories and jokes, talk about their menfolk, have hopes for the future and sing a few songs. It is sad, nostalgic, and very, very funny.
